Picture perfect spring skiing at Berkshire East

Picture perfect, but without a picture to share I’m afraid. I didn’t bring my camera, and instead chose to tear up the mountain on what was a beautiful, warm and mild, sunny day at Berkshire East. Yesterday, my mom and I drove together to arrive at 9 and meet our friend Jon. Trail of the day was Minnie Dole. My last run with Jon was on the trail, and my final solo run of the day was also on it. That last run was probably some of the best skiing of my life as I dug in and cut into the trail at high speed. Love it. Berkshire East has made some subtle improvements this year and it’s running so well. This is a place that could have easily gone out of business if not for the owner’s dedication and everyone else in place that work there. For the third year in a row, my mom and I enjoyed burgers at the top of the hill that went to raise money for the ski patrol. They do a great job and we were happy to contribute and thank them. Thank you Berkshire East!
