North Shore A Cappella, a Boston-area A Cappella singing group that in 2011 gained national attention for performing on NBC’s The Sing-Off, has been active since 1979. Earlier tonight, they made their second appearance at the Norwood Theatre, a beautifully restored building in downtown Norwood, MA. My wife, parents and I sat front row. I even had the chance to interact with the group a bit when they performed my request, “The Bruno Mars song” which is called “The Lazy Song.”
After the show, we got to say a quick hello to members Tommy Duarte (bass), and Guy Chiapponi. Tommy gave me his blessing to take the set list (see below) as a souvenir. Guy confirmed that they’d be returning to the same venue in April. The Norwood Theatre’s web site lists April 20 as the return date.
