Members of Crocodile River Music make up Vuelo, a new bossa-flamenco jazz quartet with African overtones. On Wednesday, March 29th, they played the Brown Bag Concert Series at Mechanics Hall in Worcester, Massachusetts, simulcast on WICN 90.5 FM.
The group is lead by Ron Murray, master of the Brazilian-style 7-string guitar. On this day, the configuration included the talents of Thierno Camara, bassist, from Senegal; Tanzanian Antoinette Mutuyimana, percussion and vocals; and Idrissa Koné, on tama, calabash, and percussion, from Mali.
